A ridge of high pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a trough with frontal system is slowly approaching from the western Mediterranean.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE and E winds 5-15, in the North and Central Adriatic up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places possibly around 5 km due to mist. Fine or fair, in the North Adriatic mainly cloudy with a chance of rain in places.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Light to moderate, only in the Central Adriatic and in the Bay of Kvarnerić up to fresh E and SE winds. Sea smooth or slight. A chance of mist in places. Fine or fair, but in the North Adriatic mainly cloudy with a chance of rain in places.
