A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic, while a trough with frontal system is slowly approaching from the western Mediterranean.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 5-15, in the North and Central Adriatic up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places possibly 2-4 km due to mist. In the North Adriatic mainly cloudy with scattered rain, particularly in the wider area of Rijeka. Elsewhere fair with a little chance of light scattered rain during the forenoon, then clearing is expected.
