A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic, while a trough with warm front is slowly approaching from the western Mediterranean.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds gradually strengthening to 6-16, in the Central and in the North Adriatic south of Istria, up to 20 knots, mainly toward the open sea. Sea increasing to 2-3. Visibility 10-20, but in places reduced to 2-10 km due to mist. Variably cloudy with light scattered rain or drizzle, mainly in the North Adriatic and toward the open sea.
