SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic, while a trough over the South Adriatic is filling up.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 6-16, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic up to 20 knots. Along the coast in the evening NE winds 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the extreme south of the Adriatic at first still variably cloudy with a chance of scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder.

Mainly light to moderate, in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to fresh, NE winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the South Adriatic up to moderate. Mostly clear.
