A low over the western Mediterranean is extending a trough toward the Adriatic.

SE winds 15-25, in places up to 30 knots, easing in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the afternoon. Sea 3-4, toward the open 4-5. Visibility 10-20, in places less than 10 km due to rain. Variably or mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder. Rather warm.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly in the South Adriatic. In the North and Central Adriatic light to moderate NW, in places along the coast light NE, and in the South Adriatic at first moderate to strong SE winds, easing in the second part of the night. Sea smooth or slight, in the South Adriatic up to moderate.
