SYNOPSIS

A low over western Mediterranean is spreading a trough over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE wind 12-24, in the Central and North Adriatic up to 28 knots, intensifying to 14-28, locally in the North and Central Adriatic up to 35 knots. Sea 3-4, intensifying to 4-5, at night in the open of the North and Central Adriatic possibly 6. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear. Only in some places in the North and Central Adriatic rain with a low risk of a shower and thunder.

Mostly clear. In the North Adriatic rain, showers and thunder, a risk of abundant precipitation. Elsewhere rain only in some places and a very low risk of a shower and thunder. Moderate to near gale SE wind, still in the beginning in the North and Central Adriatic possibly of gale force. Northwards and southwards of Istria SE wind diminishing and turning to light to moderate NE wind. Sea moderate and rough, in the open possibly very rough.
