A field of raised air pressure over the Adriatic is weakening slowly.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Variable winds 4-12, in the South Adriatic at first NW up to 16 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 20 km. Fine or fair, but more clouds expected in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic, where scattered rain is also possible.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mainly moderate E and SE, in places along the coast of the North Adriatic NE, while in the open, south of Istria, E and SE winds expected to strengthen to moderate to strong. Sea smooth or slight, locally in the open in the second part of the night up to moderate. Fair or mainly cloudy with scattered rain in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic.
