SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure over the Adriatic is gradually weakening.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE and SW winds strengthening to 4-14, south of Istria up to 18 knots. Elsewhere mainly calm in the morning, SW winds 4-10 knots in the afternoon. Sea 1-2, in the North Adriatic 2-3. Visibility 10-20, but in the North Adriatic at first still a little chance of fog, reducing it to less than 1 km. Mostly clear, from midday fine or fair in places. In the North Adriatic more clouds and a chance of light scattered rain, mainly in the area of Rijeka.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic light to moderate SE and SW winds, only south of Istria SE possibly up to fresh. Elsewhere calm or light SW, in the open sea and along the coast from the middle of the night, light to moderate SE winds. Sea smooth, in the North Adriatic slight. Mostly clear, in places fine or fair, and in the North Adriatic cloudy with a chance of light scattered rain, mainly in the area of Rijeka.
