SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal disturbance is shifting across the Adriatic further southeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic SW winds 6-16, in places in the morning up to 20 knots, mainly in the open sea. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE winds 10-20, in places at first still up to 24, easing in the morning and turning to SW 6-16 knots, firstly in the northern part. Sea 2-3, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic at first possibly 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to 4-10 km due to mist. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the morning, when more abundant precipitation is possible in the south. Partial clearing is expected during the day, but a little rain or a shower still possible in the South and North Adriatic.

New cloud increase with rain, showers and thunder, mainly during the night. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate, in the open during the night up to fresh, SW winds. Elsewhere light, from the middle of the night up to moderate, SW, along the coast SE winds. Sea smooth or slight.
