A LITTLE CHANCE OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC. IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL THIS MORNING AND AGAIN DURING THE NIGHT A CHANCE OF GUSTS OF NE WINDS AROUND 35 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending from the European land toward the Adriatic, while a shallow trough over the South Adriatic is slowly filling up.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW and SW, along the coast this morning NE winds, 4-12 knots. In the Velebit Channel this morning and again during the night NE winds 8-18 knots. Sea 1-2. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear and a little warmer, but in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic still variably cloudy with a chance of a little rain or brief isolated thundery rain showers.

Calm or light NE winds, only in the Velebit Channel up to fresh. Sea smooth. Mostly clear with some variable cloudiness in places at first.
