SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending from the European land toward the Adriatic, while a trough still lies over the South Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW and W, in the South Adriatic in the afternoon SE winds, in places during the night NE, 6-16 knots. In the Velebit Channel NE winds 12-22 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy, still with a chance of scattered rain or isolated thundery rain showers.
