ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE NORTH, DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING IN THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC AS WELL. IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC IN THE EVENING AND IN THE CENTRAL DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING, GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-50, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 60 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A trough with cold front is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW and SW winds 4-12 knots. In the North Adriatic in the evening NE winds 15-25, in the Velebit Channel up to 30 knots. Sea 1-2, in the North Adriatic in the evening 2-3, and in the open 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Sunny and hot. In the North, in the evening and during the night in the Central Adriatic as well, variably cloudy and cooler with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic light winds. In the North and in a part of the Central, then gradually in the rest of the Adriatic, moderate to strong NE winds, in places up to near gale force. Sea slight and moderate, in the South Adriatic in the morning still smooth. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, while in the North, then in a part of the Central Adriatic, partial clearing is expected.
