SYNOPSIS

A ridge of the Azores high is intensifying toward the Adriatic from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE, toward the open sea and in places along the coast in the afternoon NW winds, 6-16, in places of the Central and South Adriatic, and in the Velebit Channel this morning, up to 24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the Central and South, at first of the North Adriatic as well, 3-4. Visibility above 20 km. Clear or fine and fair in places.

Light to moderate NE and NW winds, in places of the Central and South Adriatic still up to fresh. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the South Adriatic up to moderate. Clear skies.
