LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL AND IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC UP TO 50, EASING DURING THE DAY AND STRENGTHENING AGAIN IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL DURING THE NIGHT UP TO 40 KNOTS. A CHANCE OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ONLY ALONG THE COAST OF THE SOUTH ADRIATIC.

NE winds 10-20, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 25, easing this morning and turning to mainly NW and W 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic up to 4. Visibility above 20 km. Mostly clear and a little warmer. In the South Adriatic variably cloudy with a chance of rain or isolated thundery rain showers along the coast, mainly in the afternoon.
