SYNOPSIS

A field of air pressure over the Adriatic is slowly weakening, while a trough with cold front is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SW and NW winds 6-12 knots, but in the South Adriatic becoming almost calm late in the afternoon. Sea 1-2. Visibility 15-25 km. Mostly clear.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear, but in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated thundery rain showers. Along the coast of the North Adriatic light to moderate NE, elsewhere light to moderate NW, and in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic light to moderate SE winds. Sea smooth or slight. A little cooler.
