SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic at first still SE, in the northern part NE winds, 4-14, in the open sea up to 20 knots, dying away later on. In the rest of the Adriatic NW winds 4-12, in the extreme south up to 16 knots at first. Sea 1-2, locally at first up to 3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic at first still variably cloudy with a chance of scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.

Mostly clear. Light, in the South Adriatic up to moderate NW winds. Sea smooth, locally in the South Adriatic up to slight.
