LOCAL GUSTS OF SE, FROM THE END OF THE DAY OF SW WINDS AS WELL, 35-40 KNOTS, GRADUALLY EASING IN THE SOUTH AND CENTRAL ADRIATIC TOMORROW. A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, PARTICULARLY IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC.

SYNOPSIS

A shallow trough with frontal disturbance is approaching from the west and it will be shifting across the North Adriatic further eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds strengthening to 12-24, in places up to 28 knots, turning in the North Adriatic and in the open of the rest of the Adriatic to SW. Sea 2-3, increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Gradual cloud increase is expected, bringing rain in places, but also isolated rain showers with thunder are possible, particularly in the North Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to strong SE and SW winds, gradually easing in the South and Central Adriatic toward midday to light to moderate. Sea slight and moderate, calming in the South and Central Adriatic toward midday. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
