IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NE, TOWARD THE OPEN SEA OF N and NW WINDS, 35-45, EASING IN THE EVENING AND DURING THE NIGHT, EXCEPT IN THE EXTREME SOUTH, WHERE GUSTS OF NE WINDS WILL STILL REACH UP TO 40 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE, in the open sea N and NW winds, 10-20, in places of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to 25, gradually easing, firstly in the North and in a part of the Central, during the night in the rest of the Adriatic as well, to 6-16, except in the extreme south, where NE winds will still reach up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic 3-4, calming during the night, except in the extreme south, where it will still be up to 4. Visibility 20 km. Clear and warmer, but in the South Adriatic still variably cloudy at first.
