LOCAL GUSTS OF SE WINDS AROUND 35, IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF S AS WELL UP TO 40, AND IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT OF NE 35-45 KNOTS. A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY TOWARD THE END OF THE DAY AND DURING THE NIGHT.

A trough with frontal disturbance is approaching the Adriatic from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds strengthening to 12-22, in the extreme south toward the end of the day up to 28 knots, but easing a little in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic. Sea 2-3, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Heavier cloud increase with rain, firstly in the North Adriatic. A risk of isolated rain showers and thunder toward the end of the day and during the night.

Mainly cloudy with rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, from the middle of the night possibly even heavier, mainly in the Central and South Adriatic. Moderate to strong SE, in the North, then in a part of the Central Adriatic as well, easing a little and turning during the night to light to fresh, from the middle of the night up to strong NE winds. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the second part of the night SE winds turning to light to fresh, in the extreme south up to strong S and SW winds. Sea slight, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to moderate.
