SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure has intensified over the Adriatic from the west, while a trough with front is shifting from the South Adriatic further eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the morning NE, then NW winds, 4-12, in the Velebit Channel NE up to 16 knots. Sea 1-2. Visibility 10-20 km. Fine or fair with light scattered rain in the South Adriatic, mainly around midday and in the afternoon, when daily cloudiness is expected to develop and isolated rain showers with thunder are possible.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light, in the open sea of the South Adriatic up to moderate, NW winds. Sea smooth, in the open of the South Adriatic possibly up to slight. Mostly clear, but along the coast at first still variably cloudy with a little risk of isolated rain showers with thunder.
