IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45 KNOTS. IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS THIS MORNING.

SYNOPSIS

A trough with weakened frontal disturbance will be shifting slowly across the Adriatic southeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 10-18, in the Velebit Channel up to 24 knots. Elsewhere SE winds 8-16, turning in the afternoon to NW 6-12 knots. Sea 2-3, in the Velebit Channel 3-4. Visibility 15-25 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic with brief isolated rain showers and thunder. Clearing is expected in afternoon. No change in air temperatures.
