WARNING
A RISK OF GUSTS OF SE WINDS UP TO 35 KNOTS IN THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC THIS MORNING. IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL AT FIRST, AND AGAIN FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, A RISK OF GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45 KNOTS. LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY DURING THE NIGHT.
SYNOPSIS
A shallow trough with frontal disturbance is extending from the west toward the Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE winds 6-16, in the Central and South Adriatic 10-20, in places this morning up to 24 knots. In the extreme north of the Adriatic at first still NE winds 8-18, in the Velebit Channel up to 24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with a little rain or a rain shower with thunder in places.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Heavier cloud increase with rain, showers and thunder, in places even heavier, mainly in the Central Adriatic. Light to moderate, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to fresh SE winds. In the North, then in a part of the Central Adriatic, SE winds gradually turning to light to moderate, in the Velebit Channel from the middle of the night up to fresh NE. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the South Adriatic possibly up to moderate.
