SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure from the southeast keeps a settled weather over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 6-16, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 20 knots, gradually easing in the evening. In the North Adriatic S and SW winds 4-10 knots. Sea in the North Adriatic 1-2, in the rest of the Adriatic 2-3, and in the open of the South Adriatic 3-4, gradually calming in the evening. Visibility above 20 km. Mostly clear with some clouds in places.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic light S and SW winds, locally in the open up to moderate. In the rest of the Adriatic still up to moderate NW, but easing gradually. Sea mainly smooth, in the extreme south at first still up to slight. Fine or fair with a risk of fog in the extreme north of the Adriatic.
