A field of high pressure over the Adriatic is slowly filling up.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Along the coast mainly NW and SW, in the morning NE winds as well, 4-14, in the Velebit Channel NE up to 18 knots at times. In the open sea NW winds 6-16, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy, in places with some more clouds and a risk of rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic in the morning.

Light to moderate NW and NE, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic NW winds up to fresh. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the South Adriatic up to moderate. Mostly clear.
