SYNOPSIS

A field of low pressure over the Adriatic and the central Mediterranean is deepening and it is keeping changeable and unsettled weather.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic mainly NE and NW winds 6-16, in the Velebit Channel NE up to 20, in places at first up to 24 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic mainly SE, during the night and tomorrow morning SW winds as well, 6-16, in the South Adriatic at first SE winds up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South Adriatic 3-4, calming during the night to 1-2, but locally in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic, and in the Velebit Channel, still up to 3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, particularly during the night, when isolated rain showers and thunder are also likely.
