FOG PATCHES REDUCING VISIBILITY IN PLACES TO LESS THAN 200 METERS. DURING THE NIGHT LOCAL GUSTS OF NE, IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC IN THE SECOND PART OF THE NIGHT AND IN THE CENTRAL TOMORROW MORNING, OF SE WINDS, 30-40 KNOTS. A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.

SYNOPSIS

A low centered over northern Africa is shifting toward the southern part of Italy.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or SE winds 4-10, only in places up to 14, turning during the night to NE and N 8-18 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing during the night to 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places less than 1 km, or even less than 200 meters, due to fog. Gradual cloud increase toward the end of the day, bringing some rain in the extreme south late in the night.

Variably or mainly cloudy, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic, during the day elsewhere as well, rain, showers and thunder in places. Moderate, in places up to fresh NE and N winds, turning in the South, in the morning in the Central Adriatic as well, to moderate to strong SE. Sea smooth or slight, in the South Adriatic up to moderate during the forenoon.
