SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure from north of Europe is intensifying a little toward the Adriatic, while a low over northern Africa will be filling up slowly.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SW, in the open at first still SE winds, 4-12, during the night mainly calm or NE winds 4-10 knots. In the North Adriatic NE winds 6-16, in the Velebit Channel up to 24 knots. Sea 1-2, in the Velebit Channel today still 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 5 km due to mist, or possibly to less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the open sea. Fair or mainly cloudy, but partial clearing is expected along the coast.

Mostly clear, in places fair, and in the open sea fair or mainly cloudy. Mist in places and a risk of fog, mainly toward the open sea. Calm or light, in the Velebit Channel at first still up to moderate NE winds, giving way from midday to light SE and SW winds. Sea calm or smooth.
