SYNOPSIS

A ridge of the Mediterranean high is extending over the Adriatic, while a new trough with frontal system is approaching from the west.

SE winds gradually strengthening to 14-28, in places up to 32 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open of the Central and of a part of the Central Adriatic possibly up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Fine or fair. In the wider area of Rijeka during the day still variably cloudy with a risk of light scattered rain.
