SYNOPSIS

A shallow field of low pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a weakened frontal disturbance is shifting northeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and S winds 8-18, in places up to 22 knots, easing in the evening, firstly in the northern part of the Adriatic. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20, but in places with mist reduced to around 5 km. Fair or mainly cloudy with light occasional rain in places and with a little risk of brief isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly in the evening. Air temperatures a little lower.

Light to moderate SE and SW winds, in the South Adriatic SE still up to fresh in places. Sea smooth or slight. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of brief isolated rain showers with thunder.
