SYNOPSIS

A field of a little raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a trough with frontal system is slowly approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE and SW winds gradually strengthening to 6-16, in places from the middle of night up to 20 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic NW, along the coast SW winds, 6-16, gradually dying away and giving way during the night to SE winds 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear. A new cloud increase is expected late in the day, bringing some rain in places of the North Adriatic late in the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic mainly cloudy with rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder. Elsewhere variably cloudy with a little rain in places through the day. Light to moderate, in the North, in the morning in the rest of the Adriatic as well, up to fresh SE, in the northern part briefly SW winds. Sea slight.
