SYNOPSIS

A field of raised air pressure keeps a settled weather over the Adriatic, but a new trough with a front is expected to approach from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW and W, in the North Adriatic mainly SE and SW winds, 6-16, in the South Adriatic NW up to 20 knots, easing gradually late in the day. Sea 2-3, in the extreme south of the Adriatic 3-4, calming during the night. Visibility above 20 km. Mostly clear, but gradual cloud increase is expected toward the end of the day.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mainly light NE and NW winds. Sea smooth, locally during the night and in the morning up to slight. Variably cloudy with rain in places.
