SYNOPSIS

A field of raised air pressure keeps a settled weather over the Adriatic, but a new trough with a front is expected to approach from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW and W, in the open of the North Adriatic SE, and in places along the coast at first NE winds, 5-15 knots. In the South Adriatic NE, during the day NW winds, 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the extreme south of the Adriatic 3-4. Visibility above 20 km. Fine or fair, but gradual cloud increase is expected in the afternoon.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mainly light NE and NW winds. Sea smooth, in the open up to slight. Heavier cloud increase, bringing rain in places of the North and of a part of the Central Adriatic.
