IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NE and E WINDS 35-50, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 60 KNOTS. A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC AT FIRST AND IN THE SOUTH DURING THE NIGHT.

SYNOPSIS

A field of low pressure over the Adriatic and the central Mediterranean is keeping a changeable and unsettled weather.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE and E winds 14-22, in the Velebit Channel up to 32 knots, easing a little. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic mainly SE and E, turning firstly along the coast in the evening to NE winds, 4-14 knots. Sea 2-3, in the North Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Partly clear, but in the North Adriatic at first still variably cloudy with scattered rain and thunder. A new cloud increase is expected in the South Adriatic during the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

NE winds light to moderate, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to strong, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force. Sea smooth or slight, in the northern part up to moderate. Rain is expected in the South, then in a part of the Central Adriatic as well, but isolated rain showers and thunder are also possible.
