A shallow low over the Ligurian Sea is gradually filling up and shifting southeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE, in the open in the morning still SW winds, 4-14, in places up to 20, turning in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic toward the end of the day and during the night to NE. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with rain in places, but also with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the open sea of the North and of a part of the Central Adriatic. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds strengthening to moderate and strong, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic light to moderate SE, turning gradually along the coast from the middle of the night to NE and E winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic in the second part of the night possibly up to moderate.
