SYNOPSIS
A trough with frontal disturbance is approaching the Adriatic from the west.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE winds strengthening to 15-30, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 36 knots. Sea increasing to 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Cloud increase with rain later on, mainly in the North, but possibly all along the Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Rain, showers and thunder. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic end of precipitation and partial clearing, but in the North Adriatic still with a risk of light scattered rain, mainly in the area of Rijeka and north of Istria. Strong and near gale force SE winds easing in the North and Central Adriatic and turning to light to fresh SW and W winds. Sea moderate and rough, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic calming to smooth and slight.
