SYNOPSIS

A deep low with frontal system lies over the Gulf of Genoa and it is keeping an unsettled weather.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 15-25, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic 25-35 knots, gradually easing during the day. In the Gulf of Trieste and in a part of the Velebit Channel NE winds 15-25 knots, gradually easing during the day. Sea 3-4, toward the open 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Overcast with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, then partial clearing. No significant change in air temperatures.

Variably cloudy and unsettled with scattered rain. Along the west Istrian coast light to moderate NE, elsewhere light to moderate SE and SW winds. Sea smooth or slight, toward the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to moderate.
