A low over the western Mediterranean is getting stronger and is shifting towards the Tyrrhenian.

SE winds, increasing to 18-38, at the end of the day locally up to 44. In the golf of Trieste and in a part of the Velebit Channel at the end of the day turning to NE and E, 14-28 knots. Sea increasing to 4-5, in the open to 5-6. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with local drizzle and with a risk of thunder showers in places.
