SYNOPSIS

A low over the Adriatic is getting weaker and is shifting suotheastwards, while a ridge of high is getting stronger from the North.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and Central Adriatic NE winds, 12-26 knots, in the Velebit Channel initially up to 34. elsewhere NE and NW winds, 6-16 knots, initially in the extreme South SE winds, 12-26 knots. Sea 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with local rain, showers and thunder, mainly in the South and Central Adriatic. From midday in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic gradually clearing.
