SYNOPSIS

The atmospheric air pressure over the Adriatic is gradually falling, while a frontal system is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE, in the North, in the evening in the rest of the Adriatic as well, SW, turning during the night to NW winds, 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, toward the open of the South Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 5 km. Variably or mainly cloudy with rain in places and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic, moderate to strong NE winds, in the Velebit Channel briefly up to near gale force. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic mainly moderate SW and NW winds. Sea slight, in the open up to moderate. Variably cloudy, still with scattered rain and isolated rain showers during the night.
