SYNOPSIS

A field of raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a new trough is slowly approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic W and SW winds 6-16 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic NW winds 6-16, along the coast in the morning calm or NE winds 4-12 knots, dying away toward the end of the day. Sea 1-2, in the North and at first in the South Adriatic as well 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to 4-10 km due to mist. Mostly clear with some clouds in the north of the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear, but in the North Adriatic in the second part of the night moderate cloud increase, with more clouds and a little rain or drizzle in the wider area of Rijeka. A risk of mist in places. In the North, from the middle of the night in the rest of the Adriatic as well, light to moderate SE, in the northern part SW winds. Sea smooth, in the northern part up to slight.
