SYNOPSIS

A shallow low is shifting from the Tyrrhenian Sea across the Adriatic further northeastwards.

In the North Adriatic NE winds 12-24, in the Velebit Channel up to 32, dying away during the forenoon and turning to NW, gradually strengthening to 6-16 knots. In the South and Central Adriatic SE winds 14-28, easing to 12-24 knots. Sea 3-4, locally in the open at first still up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the North Adriatic.
