A trough with frontal system is shifting across the Adriatic eastwards.

SE and S winds strengthening to 16-34 knots. Late in the day and during the night in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic winds easing a little and turning to SW, then to NW, 12-28, further easing in the second part of the night to 6-16 knots. Sea 3-4, increasing to 4-5, calming from the middle of the night in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder, in places with a chance of more abundant precipitation.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic light to moderate NW, in places along the coast in the morning NE winds. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to near gale force SE and S winds, easing in a part of the Central Adriatic in the morning to light to fresh and strengthening in the South to strong and gale force.
