A trough with frontal system is shifting across the Adriatic eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SW, along the coast mainly SE winds, 10-20, turning to SE and strengthening to 16-34 knots. Sea 3-4, locally in the afternoon up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. A new cloud increase, bringing rain later on, firstly in the North Adriatic. In the afternoon isolated rain showers and thunder, in the North Adriatic already during the forenoon.

Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE winds will turn to SW, then to NW, and ease to light to moderate. Elsewhere moderate to near gale force SE and S winds. Sea slight and moderate, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to rough.
