SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal disturbance is approaching the Adriatic from the west, while a low is expected to generate over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 14-32 knots. Sea 3-5, toward the open 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Overcast with scattered rain, around the middle of the night with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Overcast with rain, showers and thunder, ceasing toward midday when partial clearing is expected. Strong and near gale force SE winds will turn to SW, then to strong and gale force W and NW, easing toward midday, only in the extreme south of the Adriatic still moderate to strong SW winds. Sea moderate and rough, calming to smooth and slight.
