GUSTS OF SE and S, TOMORROW DURING THE FORENOON MAINLY OF SW WINDS, STRENGTHENING TO 35-50, IN PLACES DURING THE NIGHT AND IN THE MORNING UP TO 65, IN THE OPEN UP TO 70 KNOTS. FROM THE END OF THE DAY ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS AND SEA 5, IN THE OPEN TOMORROW POSSIBLY UP TO 6.

SYNOPSIS

A low over the Gulf of Genoa is deepening and it will be shifting in the second part of the night and tomorrow along the Adriatic southeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and S winds, strengthening to 16-28, during the night to 18-34, and locally in the open up to 40 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing to 3-4, during the night to 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with a risk of light scattered rain, from the end of the day heavier cloud increase from the west, bringing rain, showers and thunder, particularly in the North Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Strong and gale force SE and S, turning gradually in the North Adriatic before the morning, then in the Central and in a part of the South Adriatic, to SW, toward midday in the North Adriatic to NW winds. Sea moderate and rough, locally in the open possibly up to very rough. Overcast with rain, showers and thunder.
