SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while a trough with frontal system is approaching from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds strengthening to 14-28, in the open sea up to 34 knots. Sea increasing to 3-4, in the open late in the day to 4-5. Visibility above 20, in the North Adriatic 10-20 km. Fair or mainly cloudy with rain in places of the North, during the night possibly in the rest of the Adriatic as well. No significant change in air temperatures.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Strong and near gale force SE winds. Sea moderate, in the open up to rough. Overcast with rain and mist in places, and with a risk of isolated rain showers in the northern part of the Adriatic.
