IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NE and NW WINDS 35-45 KNOTS, EASING DURING THE NIGHT. IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC SEA STILL UP TO 5 AT FIRST.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the west toward the Adriatic, while a trough of Aegean low over the South Adriatic is slowly filling up.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE and NW 4-12, in the Velebit Channel NE up to 16, turning in the evening and during the night to SE winds 4-14 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE and NW winds 12-22, in places of the South Adriatic up to 26 knots, easing during the night. Sea 2-3, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic 3-4, locally in the extreme south at first still up to 5. Visibility above 20 km. Mostly clear.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic light to moderate SE winds. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic light to moderate NE and NW, tomorrow during the forenoon light variable winds. Sea smooth, in the North, at first in the South Adriatic as well, slight. Mostly clear.
