SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the west toward the Adriatic, while a low over the Aegean Sea is shifting further southeastwards.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE and NW 6-16, in the Velebit Channel around midday briefly up to 20 knots, turning late in the day to SE winds. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE and N winds 12-24, in places of the South Adriatic up to 30 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic 3-4, locally in the open at first still up to 5. Visibility above 20 km. Mostly clear.
