DURING THE NIGHT IN THE NORTH, THEN GRADUALLY IN THE REST OF THE ADRIATIC, LOCAL GUSTS OF NE and N WINDS, 35-70, IN PLACES UP TO 85 KNOTS AND SEA IN THE OPEN UP TO 5. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS FROM THE END OF THE DAY.

A trough with cold front is expected to be shifting across the Adriatic through the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly SE and SW winds 12-26, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic at first up to 16, turning in the North Adriatic during the night to NE and N 16-36, in places up to 44 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South, late in the day in the rest of the Adriatic 3-4, then increasing in the North Adriatic during the night to 4-5. Visibility 10-20, in places with mist around 4 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, from the end of the day with isolated rain showers and thunder.

Moderate to strong SE winds gradually turning in the rest of the Adriatic as well to strong and gale force NE and N winds. Sea toward the open increasing to rough. Variably cloudy with rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
