A RISK OF FOG, PARTICULARLY IN THE NORTHERN PART OF THE ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT AND IN THE MORNING. IN THE OPEN OF THE SOUTH AND CENTRAL ADRIATIC STILL A RISK OF GUSTS OF NW WINDS AT FIRST, REACHING 30-40 KNOTS.

A broad field of high pressure lies over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 6-16, in the South and Central Adriatic at first up to 24 knots, easing. North and west of Istria mainly calm. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic at first possibly up to 4. Visibility 5-15, possibly less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the northern part of the Adriatic during the night and in the morning. Fine or fair.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Fine or fair with some more clouds in the North Adriatic. Mist and a risk of fog in places, particularly in the northern part of the Adriatic. Light, only in places up to moderate NW winds, easing and dying away later on. Sea calm or smooth, in the South and Central Adriatic still up to slight at first.
